Utah's Safety Investigation Program
Utah’s safety investigation program is a collaborative effort between the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Motor Carrier Division and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to ensure commercial motor vehicles and drivers comply with federal regulations and to improve road safety. This program includes on-site and off-site investigations, safety audits, vehicle inspections, and traffic enforcement, all aimed at reducing crashes involving commercial vehicles.
