Description:
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires accessible planning, design, and construction to integrate people with disabilities into mainstream society. UDOT complies with all aspects of the law to ensure all pedestrians can use the pedestrian facilities in an accessible and safe manner. As a stipulation of an accessibility lawsuit, UDOT must also identify and address street corners that have curb and gutter but no pedestrian access ramps.
