REMOVAL OF RETENTION FROM CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS
This revision memo provides an interim revision to construction contract requirements.
The primary reason for the revision is to remove the withholding of retention from construction
contracts. Advertised projects without retention will be indicated as such in the contract documents and
in the Masterworks contract setup screen. References to retention in manuals, guides, or contract
documents will be removed in the next revision of those documents.
