This UDOT Light Rail Transit Manual of Instruction (LRTMOI) has been developed to provide
the Light Rail Transit design staff and consultants with UDOT criteria. The information presented
in the LRTMOI is expected to help fulfill UDOT’s mission of providing a safe and efficient
transportation system. The LRTMOI provides current policies and procedures for use in bus rapid
transit design projects. Engineers are expected to meet all criteria presented in the LRTMOI.
