The FFY2027 application period will open September 1, 2025, for the rural Federal Transit Administration (FTA) formula funds for Federal Fiscal Year 2027. Eligible applicants may submit to UDOT’s Rural Public Transit team between September 1 and December 31, 2025. 5310 formula funds require the agency to be listed in the Coordinated Human Service Transportation Plan with their respective Local Association of Governments to be eligible. Further eligibility requirements can be found in chapter three of our State Management Plan.
