UDOT

As part of the long-range transportation planning effort, UDOT has developed a Local Government and Public Participation Process (Participation Process), which outlines how the UDOT planning group will engage and inform local governments and the public about Utah’s long-term rural growth plans for the next 25-30 years.

UDOT is holding a 60-day public comment period on the Participation Process from January 12, 2026, to March 13, 2026.

Local Governments and the public have the opportunity to share their input during the official public comment periods as well as anytime throughout the planning process.

Feedback and suggestions on how UDOT might improve participation methods and opportunities are appreciated.

Comments can be submitted in the following ways:

All comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. on March 13, 2026.
