Project: Steinaker Service Canal Trail

OPPORTUNITY FOR A PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENTS

A public hearing of the Vernal City Council has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 6th,
2025 at 6:00 p.m. at which time Sunrise Engineering will review the draft environmental of the
Steinaker Service Canal Trail project. This is a joint project between Vernal City, Uintah County,
and the Utah Department of Transportation.
The public hearing will be held in the Vernal City Council Chambers at 374 East Main Street,
Vernal, Utah.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special
accommodation during this meeting should notify Sara Bell at (435) 789-2255 at least five days
before the hearing.
