Transit Division
The UDOT Transit Division was established in 2023 to manage and deliver fixed guideway transit projects for the state of Utah. Utah’s population continues to grow, and transit plays a key role in keeping Utah moving. Working closely with our partners at the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) to provide safe and reliable mobility options, including commuter rail, light rail, bus rapid transit (BRT), and buses, will allow all Utahns to stay connected.
The Transit Division will work closely with the UDOT Trails Division to encourage active and safe transportation for all.
