UDOT is a recipient of federal funds from the US Department of Transportation (USDOT)
agencies — the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration
(FTA). All recipients of federal funding must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
and other nondiscrimination statutes, regulations and authorities. The Title VI Program
Compliance Plan describes how the Department ensures nondiscrimination in the delivery of its
federally assisted programs, services, and activities. The Plan documents the structure of the
Department’s Title VI program and the policies, procedures and practices the Department uses
to comply with nondiscrimination requirements.
