Server maintenance notice: the Express Lanes will be performing routine maintenance on backend systems between June 19th and June 21st. Express Pass customers should expect delays in trip charges posting to their accounts during this time.
Scam text alert: UDOT has received widespread reports of a text message ‘smishing’ scam, with individuals receiving texts that claim they owe an immediate payment to the department. These texts direct individuals to click a link to resolve a fake unpaid toll.
UDOT does not send text messages requesting toll payments.

Express Pass customers can visit https://www.expresspass.utah.gov/ or call 855-813-9127 for any questions regarding your account. You can report scams and suspicious communications to the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/?orgcode=UTDOT.
Express Lane Tolls:
The Express Pass allows solo motorists to use the Express Lanes by paying a toll.

Looking to pay a toll after using the lane?
Please note that UDOT’s system does not automatically send bills in the mail for the use of the Express Lanes; users wishing to use the Express Lane as a toll lane must sign up for and receive an Express Pass first.
Use of the lane without a transponder set to TOLL mode or without meeting occupancy requirements is illegal, and is subject to citation by the Utah Highway Patrol.
