Road Closures:

  • Legacy Parkway (Farmington to I-215)
    • A short stretch of the left lane on northbound Legacy Parkway at 2425 South in Woods Cross will be closed daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, for crews to begin paving the new lanes. 
    • Northbound Lane Closures and Noise Wall Construction (May 26–July 2026) Crews will periodically close the right lane on northbound Legacy Parkway between Center Street in North Salt Lake and 500 South in Woods Cross starting as early as Tuesday, May 26, through July 2026 to safely transport noise wall materials. 
  • Closure of Southbound West Davis Corridor Ramp to Legacy Parkway (May 30)
  • SR-106 Farmington:
    • Crews have begun storm drain installations on the northeast corner of Park Lane at Main Street between 947 N and 1130 N on Main Street. The project is using one-way traffic signals to manage vehicle flow through the work zone. Drivers using driveways and access points within the project area are advised to wait for vehicles traveling in the direction of their destination before safely re-entering the travel lane.
  • I-15/I-84 closures:
    • I-15 Lane & Shoulder Closures: There are ongoing shoulder closures on northbound and southbound I-15. There are ongoing lane closures overnight on southbound I-15 for the next few weeks from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
    • I-84 Lane Closure: There are ongoing single lane closures on westbound and eastbound I-84. The westbound closure starts at the Riverdale Road exit and continues until the merge with northbound I-15. The eastbound closure runs from the southbound I-15 exit to the Riverdale Road exit. The shoulders will also be closed in both directions during these times.
    • The closure of 4400 South over I-15 between 1600 West and Cozy Dale Drive will continue until after Memorial Day.
  • Logan closures:
    • Lane closures will be present as work continues in the following locations:
      • Milepost (MP) 462 to 463 (Near Second Dam)
      • Milepost (MP) 464.4 to 466 (Near Spring Hollow Campground)
    • Shoulder closures will be present at the following location:
      • Milepost (MP) 477 (Near Temple Fork Rd)
  • 5600 South Corridor upcoming closures:
    • Overnight Ramp & Lane Closures – Starting Next Week. Crews will continue roadway improvements along the corridor with overnight ramp closures and lane restrictions on I-15 southbound beginning Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
    • Crews will close the 5600 South bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night to complete final roadway surface treatment work on the bridge.
    • Intersection Paving Closure Operations – Starting Next Week. Crews will complete remaining concrete flatwork and mill and fill operations in preparation for final paving activities throughout the 5600 South corridor. Work will occur nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the following intersections:
      • 3500 West: May 30-31
      • 2050 West – Closed
  • I-15 Shepard lane Interchange closures:
    • EXTENDED: Northbound and Southbound I-15 Overnight Lane Closures (May 26–28 and 30) 
      Up to three lanes on northbound and southbound I-15 will close between the Burton Lane overpass in Kaysville and the State Street overpass in Farmington for bridge work Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28, and on Saturday, May 30. Lanes will start closing at 9 p.m. each night and will be open by 7 a.m. the next morning.
    • Nightly Full Closures of 1500 West, 1290 North, East Shepard Lane, Frontage Road, North Station Lane, and Innovator Drive (May 28–May 30)
      • Starting Thursday, May 28, through Saturday, May 30, portions of 1500 West, 1290 North, East Shepard Lane, Frontage Road, North Station Lane, and Innovator Drive in Farmington will close overnight for pavement sealing and striping. This area will close at 9 p.m. each night and open by 7 a.m. each morning.
      • Starting as early as 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, through 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 30, the following closures will take place for pedestrian bridge work:
        • Eastbound and westbound Park Lane from Station Parkway to Legacy Parkway will be reduced to one lane.
        • The southbound Legacy Parkway on-ramp from Park Lane in Farmington will close. Detour to Parrish Lane in Centerville to access southbound Legacy Parkway.
    • UTA FARMINGTON STATION PARK AND RIDE LOT REDUCTION: Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, through spring 2026, the northeast section of the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) Farmington Station park and ride lot near the Front Runner station will close to serve as a construction staging area. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible parking stalls in the northeast section will remain open for use (See Map). Drivers and pedestrians should use caution while traveling near the work zone. Do not enter the staging area at any time.

Region One covers the northern part of the state, including the following counties: Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Morgan, Rich and Weber.

Our responsibility is to construct and maintain state roadways in the safest, most efficient manner possible.

Approximately 235 full-time employees work for Region One. We manage 942 center-line miles and 2655 lane miles of state roadway. Region One includes two national forests, one national historic site, seven state parks and three state highways designated “Scenic Byways.”
