Road Closures:

  • Legacy Parkway (Farmington to I-215)
    • Northbound Lane Closures and Noise Wall Construction (May 26–July 2026)
      • Crews will periodically close the right lane on northbound Legacy Parkway between Center Street in North Salt Lake and 500 South in Woods Cross starting as early as Tuesday, May 26, through July 2026 to safely transport noise wall materials. 
    • The left lane on northbound Legacy Parkway between 500 South in Woods Cross and Center Street in North Salt Lake will be periodically closed between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. starting as early as Monday, May 18, through Thursday, May 21.  configurations: 
      • Northbound Legacy Parkway: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Wednesday, May 6, through Wednesday, May 13.
      • Southbound Legacy Parkway: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Wednesday, May 13, through Wednesday, May 20.
  • SR-106 Farmington:
    • Crews plan on closing 900 North at Main Street on Monday, May 18, until the middle of June for asphalt removal and utility reconstruction.  
    • Crews have begun storm drain installations on the northeast corner of Park Lane at Main Street between 947 N and 1130 N on Main Street. The project is using one-way traffic signals to manage vehicle flow through the work zone. Drivers using driveways and access points within the project area are advised to wait for vehicles traveling in the direction of their destination before safely re-entering the travel lane.
  • I-15/I-84 closures:
    • I-15 Lane & Shoulder Closures: There are ongoing shoulder closures on northbound and southbound I-15. Our crews will be working on the bridge overnight Sunday, May 17, necessitating lane closures on southbound and northbound I-15 starting at 8 p.m. A single inside lane will remain closed on northbound I-15 through Friday, May 22. A single inside lane will remain closed on southbound I-15 for the next few weeks.
    • I-84 Lane Closure: There is an ongoing single lane closure on westbound I-84. The westbound closure starts at the Riverdale Road exit and continues until the merge with northbound I-15. The shoulders will also be closed in both directions during these times.
    • The closure of 4400 South over I-15 between 1600 West and Cozy Dale Drive will continue until after Memorial Day.
  • Logan closures:
    • Lane closures will be present as work continues in the following locations:
      • Milepost (MP) 463 to 465 (Near Second Dam)
      • Milepost (MP) 466.2 to 467.2 (Near Third Dam)
    • Shoulder closures will be present at the following locations:
      • Milepost (MP) 476.9 (Near Temple Fork Rd)
      • Milepost (MP) 481 (Near Tony Grove)
    • 600 S access from Main Street will be remain closed through entire project timeline.  Local residents will access properties from 100 W only.
  • 5600 South Corridor upcoming closures:
    • Crews will continue lane closures on I-15 in both the northbound and southbound directions to accommodate remaining paving and final work activities from May 12-21 nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Plan ahead and expect delays.
    • Intersection Paving Closure Operations – Starting Next Week. Crews will complete remaining concrete flatwork and mill and fill operations in preparation for final paving activities throughout the 5600 South corridor. Work will occur nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the following intersections:
      • 1900 West: May 19-20
      • 6000 South: May 21
      • 3500 West: May 30-31
      • 2050 West – Closed
  • I-15 Shepard lane Interchange closures:
    • Northbound and Southbound I-15 Overnight Lane Closures (May 11, 12, and 15)
      • On Monday, May 11; Tuesday, May 12; and Friday, May 15, up to three lanes on northbound and southbound I-15 will close nightly between the Burton Lane overpass in Kaysville and the State Street overpass in Farmington for bridge work. Lanes will start closing at 9 p.m. each night and will be open by 7 a.m. the next morning. 
      • UTA FARMINGTON STATION PARK AND RIDE LOT REDUCTION: Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, through spring 2026, the northeast section of the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) Farmington Station park and ride lot near the Front Runner station will close to serve as a construction staging area. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible parking stalls in the northeast section will remain open for use (See Map). Drivers and pedestrians should use caution while traveling near the work zone. Do not enter the staging area at any time.

Saturday, May 16, 2026: Ogden Canyon will be closed from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The marathon starts in South Fork Canyon on SR39 near the turnoff to Causey Reservoir.  Participants run in the WB lane of traffic until making a right hand turn on Hwy 166, where they head up towards Eden, UT NB/WB in the SB lane of traffic.  From Eden park, participants head WB on 2200 N, and turn right heading SB/WB on SR 158, using both lanes.  At the top of Ogden Canyon, participants head down in the WB lane, exiting from SR-39 at the bottom of the canyon via the north side of the road where they merge with the Ogden River Parkway.  Participants finish via the parkway, Park Blvd, 18th Street, and Grant, where they finish at 25th and Grant. Map link
