US-40 & 1500 West Concrete Median, Vernal – Public Comment Period February 26 to March 30, 2026
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is proposing a project to construct a section of raised concrete curb in the median along US-40 in Vernal, at the intersection of 1500 West. If constructed, the raised curb would restrict left turns from 1500 West onto north or southbound US-40.
UDOT’s goal is to reduce traffic conflict points, promote driver awareness, and improve safety at this intersection.
Public comments will be accepted through March 30, 2026.
